Henrique Gomes e Silva
Henrique comes from the state of Minas Gerais in the Brazilian countryside. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in Political Science, with a research focus on the intersection between religion and foreign policy.
His academic journey included an exchange semester in The Hague, where he gained insights into European institutions and decision-making processes. During this time, he visited the European Parliament and the European Commission in Brussels, sparking a strong fascination with EU politics.
Henrique previously worked at a School of Government in Brazil, contributing to the training of public servants. During his internship at COMECE, he will focus primarily on EU External Affairs. He is motivated by the opportunity to align his professional work with a deeper sense of purpose, a combination he believes leads to high-quality and lasting results.
Henrique is passionate about art and is particularly enthusiastic about everything related to The Lord of the Rings.
He speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and is currently learning Italian.
